]]> http://www.standupdan.com/blog/2009/07/joes-pub-on-july-11th/feed/ ALASKA!! http://www.standupdan.com/blog/2009/04/alaska/ http://www.standupdan.com/blog/2009/04/alaska/#comments Sun, 05 Apr 2009 00:28:08 +0000 Dan Ahdoot http://www.standupdan.com/?p=499 I had a show at U Alaska last night.  I’ve been here for 2 days.  A couple of thoughts.  No, they’re not ALL like Sara Palin - although some definitely are.  I SAW A MOOSE!!!  I went crazy when I saw this thing.  I freaked out.  All my Alaskan friends thought it was really funny that I thought it was such a big deal.  It reminds me of when a friend from Iowa visited me in NYC and saw his first crackhead sitting in front of my building.  He freaked out, but for us, it was just a normal occurrence.  

Also, there’s an active VOLCANO here and a club called Kodiac.  I can’t tell which one is crazier.
